Lisban Quintero led Foundation to first place in the NYC Team Invitational. Zak Abdullah of CRCA/FGX duplicated his recent club results by winning the Cat 4 race and Heidi Reijm was awarded first place in the Women’s 3/4 race.
Foundation won the team race followed by Mengoni and Champion System.
In the women’s 3/4 race Kristin Lotito crossed the line a few bike lengths ahead of everyone but was disqualified after other riders protested that she went into the rec lane. While Kristin claimed she went into the rec lane to avoid hitting a jogger, the officials ruled against her even though they did not see the incident.
