The club race scheduled for July 18 has been switched to August 30 at the request of the Dept. of Parks due to a conflict with other park events.
The Club Individual Time Trial Championship will be held on August 1 as part of the Long Meadow TT. We thank Westwood Velo for hosting this event.
CRCA riders should register for the special CRCA categories. The 40 and 50 year old Club Master’s champs will be selected based on time as they have been for the past few years. CRCA C riders should register for the B race.
The CRCA Men’s Clinic hosted by the Western Union and Empire teams will be on August 15.
The Mengoni Grand Prix is slated for August 22.
The Lou Maltese Memorial has been rescheduled for August 23. The August 16 date had a conflict with the ING Half-Marathon and the Dept. of Parks gave us August 15. But since August 15 conflicted with both the New York State Championship Road Race and a Prospect Park Race, we rescheduled for August 23.
The second Alpine Hill Climb for 2009 will be on August 29.
The Nancy Morgenstern Memorial – Fall Bear Mtn Race is on September 13. This year’s race will stage at Lake Sebago and will feature an uphill finish. It’s the same 14 mile loop but a whole different race.
