The CRCA board voted to crown Club Champions for track and cyclocross in addition to the road race and individual time trial disciplines.
Club President Mike Green, said “I discovered that there was a club track champ thru the 70’s and at least the early 80’s. Reinstating this can only help the development of track racing and reasserts CRCA’s commitment to support all USCF cycling disciplines. With the growing popularity of cyclocross , it was a no-brainer to also add a cyclocross champ.”
For this year the New York State Track Championships will serve to pick the club champ. The format for selecting the cyclocross champ has not been decided as the schedule is not yet available.
