If you are interested in helping the club plan and run it’s races we want to hear from you. If you are organized, dependable and enthusiastic about putting on high quality events, you’re perfect for the role.
Each event we put on requires a number of activities to be performed well in order to make our events a success. Events outside of Central Park in particular require additional work. Board members and a few other volunteers have typically borne the majority of this responsibility. To ensure the ongoing success of the club year in and year out, it is important that a larger number of our members are involved in our events.
We are looking to identify people who are willing to assist with club races and open races. The roles will require that you accept responsibility and follow through with your commitment – our events depend on it. We will work out specific roles as we move into more detailed planning in 2013. Your participation will count as your marshaling credits for the year, but you should also understand that the time commitment may be be greater.
