Graham Macbeth winning the GMSR Cat.3 TT
CRCA racers had a number of successes the 2012 edition of the Green Mountain Stage Race, Aug. 31-Sept. 3. Graham Macbeth of Setanta won the cat. 3 TT, finishing 5th on the GC. Laura Lee Vo of Radical Media took 3rd in the 3/4 Women’s TT and 3rd in the GC.
Ernesto Paredes of Siggi’s/NYVelocity won the 4/5 field in the circuit race. Ira Blumberg of FGX racing took 2nd in the cat. 3 Circuit race (and 5th in the overall spring competition), while Emily Spence of BH/Comedy Central took 2nd in the 3/4 Women’s Circuit race.
David Taylor of Eumaeus-Fuoriclasse took 3rd in the 40+ field of the App Gap stage, eventually winning the 40+ KOM competition and taking 2nd in the GC. Kyle Peppo of Rapha Racing took 2nd in the cat. 2 App Gap stage (and 7th in the overall KOM competition). Jesse Walker of Setanta took 3rd in the cat. 3 Criterium.
In addition, Jayson Jacobs of Wafels and Dinges NYC Velo took the KOM in the Cat. 3 field and 2nd in the GC. Amy Layton of Gennaro’s took 3rd in the women’s 3/4 sprint competition, and Christophe Wilkes of Eumaeus-Fuoriclasse took 3rd in the 50+ sprint competition.
