Over 100 professional, international women cyclists will compete in the 16th annual Liberty Classic, one of the longest-running, most prestigious women’s races in the country.  The Liberty Classic race consists of four laps of a 14.4-mile circuit through Philadelphia with four steep climbs up the grueling Manayunk Wall and is held during the men’s International Championship on the same course.  Start Time: 9:10 AM
The Rosters have been posted and we have a CRCA team in the race, with Maria Quiroga of CRCA/Radical Media, and led by Kathryn Donovan, currently 5th in the NRC and 3rd Overall at the Tour of the Gila.

Former CRCA member Evelyn Stevens will be racing as well for the HTC-High road team.

I invite all our CRCA members to come down to Philadelphia for both the Men’s “International Classic” and the Women’s “Liberty Classic” to cheer for the athletes and experience a world class cycling event.

Staging begins at 8am.
Races start at 9am.
