Craig Cook started racing bicycles with the CRCA in 1985, at the age of 16. He raced at the elite level in the United States, and Europe including eight seasons based in France. Craig returned to New York in 2004 to pursue a degree in architecture. He freelances as a journalist and photographer, having worked in the disparate worlds of fashion -where he snaps pics- and cycling journalism – where he turns up every year at Bicycling.com to cover the Tour de France. Discouraged by the lack of support for junior cycling at his racing “alma mater” CRCA, Craig took over the position of Vice President of Rider Development and started the current Junior Development program at the end of 2005.
