MEN’S RACING CLINIC PRESENTED BY CRCA

Each year we host a Men’s Clinic designed to introduce new racers to bicycle racing.  The clinic is fully marshaled with pace vehicles and coaching throughout. In addition there is a pre-race instruction session and post-race recap with Q&A. The clinic will focus on the many topics of interest and concern to new racers, including: bicycle safety, racing safety, training for racing, nutrition, race strategy and tactics.

This is a great opportunity for beginning racers to come out and learn about bicycle racing as part of an event co-hosted by the two largest competitive cycling organizations in the City.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

All registration will be completed via Bikereg at the link above. There is no day-of registration – you must register in advance on Bikereg. On the day of the race the Clinic will meet at the Rambles parking lot on East Drive at 79th Street.

USAC license is required – one day license will be available at sign-in for a discounted price of $5.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Helmets are required. No aero bars. No sleeveless jerseys. Bring an energy bar and two full water bottles. Eat breakfast. For additional information contact: openracing[at]crca.net.
