Today’s race schedule included a race that is part of our Women’s Category 4 Series p/b Rockstar Games/Signature Cycles. Over 30 Category 4 women took to the line, with Erica Tricarico (Stan’s NoTubes p/b EnduranceWERX) took the win from Marsha Schneider (Westwood Velo) and Jessica Meany (Stan’s NoTubes p/b EnduranceWERX).
In the Men’s A race, Adam Alexander (Foundation) won a field sprint; Zach Koop (Blue Ribbon – Translations.com) was second and Eutimio Quintero (Foundation) was third. Chris Strumolo (Dave Jordan Racing) was fifth and retained the Sixcycle leaders jersey in the Jim Boyd Competition. Foundation cemented their lead in the team cup.
The Women’s club race saw Jim Boyd leader BritLee Bowman (Stan’s NoTubes p/b EnduranceWERX) take her third win of the season and open up a huge lead on Aimee Layton (Asphalt Green Cycling Team) who took second in the race today in front of Carol-Lynn Mills (Houlihan Lokey)
In the Men’s B race, Noah Gellner (Foundation) won ahead of Joseph Grgic (Setanta) in his first race as a Category 4 rider. Erick Fernandez (Dave Jordan Racing) was third.
In the C Field, a break of four riders rode away from the field and Alex Sanborn (Foundation) separated himself from his breakaway companions to take a comfortable win. Teammate Sam Hamilton was second. The last of the breakaway riders, Erik Ogren (Siggi’s/NYVelocity) and Vasco Ivanov (Empire TriClub), sprinted for third with Ogren narrowly beating Ivanov.
